Six years managing cutting equipment at a professional golf course will change the way you think about a sharp blade. But my interest in mechanical work started long before that.

I'm Austin — founder of Reel American Cut LLC. Since I was around 12 years old, I've been taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and putting them back together. From game consoles and minibikes to broken equipment and mechanical projects, I've always enjoyed understanding why something works, why it failed, and how to make it better.

That curiosity eventually became a career in professional golf course equipment maintenance. My background includes maintaining cutting equipment for bentgrass greens on an Arnold Palmer designed course in Central Texas — one of the most demanding cutting environments in the state. Bentgrass requires a level of precision that leaves very little room for error, and that standard came with me when I started Reel American Cut.

I service McLane, California Trimmer, Tru-Cut, Allett, Swardman, Toro, John Deere, Jacobsen, Baroness, Dennis, Rolux, and other reel mower brands.

Every reel mower I service gets the same attention I give equipment cutting greens at dawn — properly ground, correctly set, paper tested, greased, adjusted, and ready to perform. The goal isn't to make a mower look serviced. It's to make sure it cuts the way it should.

Getting your mower serviced shouldn't cost you half a day. Pickup and delivery are available throughout Central Texas, with long distance service available for select jobs in Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, and surrounding areas.
